Submissions & Publishing

The submission of original works or proposals to Casavaria's editors does not guarantee publication. Each piece or proposal will be assessed individually according to the quality of the work, the nature and style of its content, and whether it fits into Casavaria's current project.

Some services require fees from authors or artists, in exchange for creating dedicated online environments for the promotion of that individual's work.

Visual Art Galleries

Casavaria's digital art galleries are envisioned as a resource for visual artists and photographers who seek to gain exposure for their work. Submissions must be in digital form. Services will range from simple creation of online galleries and/or the creation of a secure gallery niche to the creation of digital media for sale and/or the facilitation of the sale of prints.

Not all of these services are yet operational, and it will take some time to mount Casavaria's complete visual art gallery project.

Freedom of Expression & Editorial Discretion

Casavaria believes in freedom of expression and exists in large part to cultivate, celebrate and promote the productive individual application of that freedom. Casavaria reserves, however, the right to exclude any work from publication on the basis of perceived quality, taste, timing, relevance, or other subjective editorial criteria.

By submitting work to Casavaria, the contributor agrees not to use Casavaria in any way for the purpose of slander, incitement or any other illegal use of expressive aggression not protected by the First Amendment to the US Constitution. According to Casavaria's artistic philosophy, such formulations are inherently lacking in expressive quality and therefore cannot fit into our project.

Casavaria's editors reserve the right to examine all submissions with this exclusion in mind and to refuse any work that contains threatening or otherwise unprotected language.
