JOURNALISM STUDENT TASERED BY POLICE AFTER ASKING HARD QUESTIONS OF SEN. KERRY
This video shows a journalism student attending a speech by Sen. John Kerry (D-MA), at the University of Florida. He asks the senator and 2004 presidential candidate why he conceded the 2004 election "on the day" when there were reports from several states of voter suppression. He goes on to ask why Kerry does not push to impeach Bush for the Iraq war, and to prevent war with Iran, then finishes with a third question about whether Sen. Kerry was "a member of the same secret society as the president".
Police then proceed to surround the student, before he finishes and while Sen. Kerry begins his answer. Sen. Kerry is heard faintly saying "That's all right, let me answer his question", but police ignore his response. As the student cries out "what did I do?" and "please help me!", police wrestle him to the ground then electrocute him with a "Taser" device, designed to incapacitate violent or dangerous armed aggressors. Members of the audience are heard screaming "stop" and "why are you doing that" as police tell the public to stay away and ignore their actions. [Full Story]

Sentido anticipates increasing convergence between moving and broadcast media and the static, readable internet. It is with this in mind that we have begun planning the launch of a "Sentido TV" digital platform for online posting and reader download of moving news footage and reporting.

Sentido's aim to extend its service into broadcast format multimedia stems from the belief that information is valuable in itself and that providing information over multiple channels liberates the audience that consumes such information. Sentido will not reduce its textual offerings, but will provide enhanced complementary audio-visual coverage of key stories.
