HUNTING THE PARADIGM SHIFT THROUGH DEBATE & RESEARCH
HotSpring is a new debate and discussion forum, aimed at providing users with the flexibility to pool their resources, spout outlandish ideas, and test the ability of readers to suspend their disbelief long enough to contemplate new directions in science, technology and communications.
The project is aimed at anyone with a mind for getting beyond the obvious and embracing the subtleties of truly innovative thought, and our ultimate goal will be to create a deep-running current of talent and criticism that will lead to opportunities for the implementation of complex technological solutions and genuine conditional compensation for those who contribute materially to their development.
A major component of the Hot Spring model is the aim of reaching a point of awareness of the coming paradigm shift in a given field, through brainstorming, debate and research intensity, to go beyond the current prevailing views and find the moment of transition beyond which research, problem-solving and production take on new forms not previously possible.
Intellectual property is important to us, so we aim to provide coverage for the intellectual property of each through licensing for the full discussion, research and development, on a group basis. We aim to work out new concepts for common copyright management or for flexible individual licensing that provides benefits to contributors and to the whole.

With HotSpring, Casavaria takes the view that research must be open and avoid bias toward even its own stated goal, but research will be conducted, promoted or discussed, with the policy that the problem is not whether a good idea is possible, but how to achieve it, or which of various possible scenarios is optimal for all involved.
. . . THE PROJECTS, AT INCEPTION
The most important of the HotSpring research projects will encompass a broad array of computational, spatial and energy conducting technologies, with the aim of creating a unique renewable resource for power generation, which could outstrip the limitations of finite natural materials and eliminate the risk of contaminating or combustible fuels.

Another bold initiative of the HotSpring project is a new system designed to revolutionize the way anti-virus or software-security services work, with the aim of being able to take action against possible computer security threats, before they are well-known or fully understood. This is one of many vital innovations that will be useful in dealing with the coming complications of media hyper-convergence.
PUBLISHING
A third main project, which has always underlied Casavaria’s design and development, is to create a complex but user-friendly system for customized editing and design of printable materials online. The aim is to permit an expansion of the creative and expressive capabilities of the online platform, and to bring readers into the process of content creation.
Examining the manner in which financial news is reported in the popular media, HotSpring proposes to create a system whereby live-update, rss-technology, and financial and editorial expertise, come together to produce a reliable up-to-the-minute resource for evaluating broad economic trends and engagements, without limiting analysis to single-parameter references like GDP or individual stock indices. The HotSpring forum will work like a voluntary think-tank, without a set or limited staff or research facility. It will evolve in stages, from theory and discussion, to conceptual and design research, to prototype and testing, and eventually, broad-market production.
The forum will be open in the sense that anyone can contribute comments and ideas, but integrated in the sense that a select few “innovators” who contribute to the project may be chosen to participate as partners in ongoing research and development, with possible royalty rights, depending on the choice of the project’s directors and/or existing partners.
BEFORE CONTRIBUTING, VITALLY IMPORTANT:
Casavaria will not relinquish the exclusive right to develop ideas based on already-existing internal documentation, discussion or research, on the basis of a similar concept being aired by an outside party. All contributions to HotSpring are with the understanding that Casavaria may with absolute discretion decide which ideas are unique or new enough to warrant a potential contractual partner status. All other comments will be treated as voluntary contributions.
