Future Resiliency – City of Water Day

On Saturday, July 20, 2013, Joseph Robertson—Geoversiv founder, Citizens Climate Lobby tri-state coordinator and chair of Villanova’s PESC subcommittee on Operations & Energy Use—presented this talk (which has been updated for online viewing—view the full presentation in Prezi, below).

To build resiliency across the full spectrum of resources, activities, ecosystems and industrial practices, we must build the capacity of citizens to play a direct role in planning and implementing major policy changes that affect quality of life and availability of structural and ecosystemic resources at the human scale.

GOOD-based economic thinking and citizen policy activism can provide a foundation for that transformation. Geoversiv Envisioning provided the online outreach, and a platform for the graphic material development for this talk.

Workshops are available to help reframe an organization’s core planning infrastructure, to better meet the criteria of a GOOD-based or “geoversiv” approach to full-spectrum sustainability.
