There are enough true facts and worthy ideas upbfor debate; it's a failure of our collective imagination that we can't find enough reasonable people who can understand, explain and deal with those actual truths and controversies. Yes, there’s something deeply wrong with the segment of the political spectrum that views its own right to hold unfounded assertions and proven falsehoods as “beliefs” or “opinions” and also with the media outlets that treat that perversion of commentary as a source of juicy provocations and ratings-inducing conflict. Oh yeah. "A joke". The media gets my vote for "entity that follows liars of the year." I guess Sarah Palin's persistence exposes the degree to which the mainstream media will follow an airhead as long as it gets them eyeballs. What a joke our news services are these days.
